Stress and Burnout Evening Open Boek

Most computing science students are all too familiar with being stressed or even burnt out from all the university work. Because these problems can be stigmatized, they often are not talked about and fly under the radar. This may cause them to build up and lead to more and more severe mental health problems as time goes on.

During this evening, the Open Boek foundation will give a lecture about experiencing stress or burn-out as a student, and how to deal with it in a healthy manner. This will be an interactive talk that encourages sharing your experiences with fellow students (if you want to), and tries to remove some of the stigma surrounding stress and burn-out. Our very own secretary Joost will also share his experiences.

At the end, we will all have a nice borrel where you can talk some more about the things discussed.

This event counts as a lunch lecture, and there will be free soda and snacks (of course, also Sinterklaas-themed ones)!

Please register so we have an estimate of how many people are coming.

The Open Boek foundation is an organization that wants to increase openness about mental health. They do this by organising symposia, recording video's, collaboration with other associations and social media posts.
