On Tuesday the 27th of January 2026, the Radboud CTF team is organizing an event with the National Forensic Institute (NFI)!
In this event we'll get to know what organisation the NFI is, what it does in Digital Forensics and we get a tour through the labs! Afterwards, there is a borrel where we can network. For the students following the course R&VO: we've arranged that attending this event can count towards your lunch lecture requirement, to be precise, it should award two lunch lecture points!
The primary target audience is students, though if you have an affiliation with the Radboud or the CTF group you're also welcome (e.g. recent graduates and phd can also attend).
English-speaking participants are welcome!
It will take place at the NFI in Den Haag / The Hague. Keep in mind that this is quite a trip by public transport. If you come by public transport, the nearest tram stop is 'Laan van Ypenburg'. You can also drive, but their parking lot may be full, so be ready to park elsewhere.
The amount of spots is limited (40). So if you want to get a spot, it is best to sign up soon.
No NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) has to be signed, however, they have mentioned taking photos and/or videos in the labs, during the tour is prohibited.
It may be needed to bring your laptop for practical challenges, we will inform those who have registered later about that via email.
To register, send an email to radboud_rip@protonmail.com. In this mail, please include your full name, and if you are a student for the R&VO course, please also provide your student number.
