DJ Workshop

Want to become a world-famous DJ, eager to become a BeestFeest resident, or hoping to spin tracks at your daughter's wedding but think that's all way out of your league? Becoming a BeestFeest resident is not as far away after this workshop as you might think; one of our hosts today can confirm that.

At this member initiative DJ workshop, Rico and Seppe will go through the basics of deejaying with you. After a short presentation with some useful theories and a small demonstration, you will get a chance behind the decks to convince yourself you've got what it takes. In small groups, you'll be responsible for one DJ deck, while we will walk around and give you advice and tips while you're playing music.

During the workshop we will go through some differences between genres when it comes to mixing, learn you how to beatmatch properly, what the importance of track selection is, but most important: How awesome it can be to have your musical thoughts and feelings come to life through the turntables.
Of course, there will be drinks and snacks, just like any other party. Be quick to sign up, as there are only limited spots!
