The biggest relay race of the world, the Batavierenrace, will once again begin right here in Nijmegen. After previous successes (2019 & 2021), Thalia was once again bold enough this year to sign up a team for this sports event. In the night from 29 to 30 April, our team of 25 runners will bridge the distance between Nijmegen and Enschede. Once we reach the finish in Enschede, we hope to join up with several other Dutch Computing Science associations for a nice barbecue (will be decided later on), after which we will wrap up the festivities with the enormous Batavierenfeest.

Besides runners, we are also looking for people that want to help setting up the tents in Enschede, so that our tired runners can rest comfortably after they arrive at the camp site. If you are interested in joining this team, you can register with the link above, too. These camp builders are, just like the rest, invited to the barbecue and the final festival.
