Speeddates board interest

Have you joined the board interest lunch, or did you already have board interest, but want to get a little more in-depth information and insights when it comes to the different board functions? This year we introduce a board speeddating session!

During the speeddates, you will have a 5 to 10 minute talk with every board-member, where you get the chance to ask questions about their function within the board. The main aim of the board speeddating session is to get well familiar with all board functions, and in that way help you with making a choice on what function to apply for. That means that if you sign up, you will get assigned a speeddate with every board member. Maybe you will find that the role of for instance external affairs or secretary might be something for you, while you otherwise would'nt ever have thought about it.

While the board members probably have a lot to tell about his or her function, the content of a speeddate talk will actively depend on your input and questions. We aim to answer as many questions as possible, but 5 to 10 minutes might in some cases not be enough for you to get to know everything you want. We therefore ask you to prepare the questions you want to ask thoroughly.

Although the board applications have already opened by this time, don't feel rushed to turn yours in. Waiting for this speeddating session is probably the best way to go if you still have doubts. Note that the speeddates will probably be of great value for your application interview!
The speeddating session is just for people who are interested and there are no strings attached if you visit.

Afterwards, we organize a small borrel in the Zuidkantine, where you can ask some more questions if you like. Some former board members are also invited.
