Preliminaries BAPC (Benelux Algorithm Programming Contest)

The preliminaries for the Benelux Algorithm Programming Contest 2019 (organized by Desda and Thalia this year!) take place on Saturday 21 September. In five hours, teams with a maximum of three members solve as many algorithmic problems as possible, after which the best scoring teams may participate in the finale on 19 October (and afterwards maybe on to the North-West European and maybe even the global finale).
It will take place in the Huygensbuilding and it will start at 10:00 and end around 20:00. This timeframe includes a test session to make sure the technology works correctly (a more accurate location will be published later).

The problems are similar to the problems of the computing science course Algorithms & Data structures, but even more fun. The preliminary problems this year should be easier such that it is also fun if you have not followed such a course yet. During the contest, a live scoreboard will let you know how you are doing. Problems can be solved in C, C++, Java and Python.

Interested? Register underneath, or if your team is not all member of Thalia, mail to info@bapc.eu with your team members and team name.

PS: there will be a list on which you can order food
