SkyCare, the virtual hospital

An aging population requires more specialized care, but healthcare systems are already at risk of being overburdened. In order to combat this issue Achmea is working together with international partners to design a virtual hospital that will provide medical services to patients with no loss of quality of life compared to regular healthcare. This lecture focuses on different aspects of the project including data collection, analysis and storage, required hardware, recent legislation (GDPR) and human resources on a European scale.
