Ninja lecture evening

Ninja (Nijmeegs Informatica Network for Year Groups), once again organizes a lecture evening. This time around the Security theme, specifically about PEP and SSD's.
An excellent opportunity to acquire some knowledge in an informal way, while you come into contact with alumni informatica of the Radboud.

We have two speakers: Jean Popma and Bernard van Gastel.

Jean Popma will talk about PEP. And we do not mean the comics magazine from the sixties and seventies, but 'Polymorphic encryption and pseudonymisation for personalized healthcare'.

Key concepts in polymorphic encryption are:
- Data can be encrypted immediately after generation and stored in the cloud, without the cloud provider being able to access the data. It is also not necessary to indicate in advance who is allowed to view the data.
- Later, on the basis of a policy, it is decided who can decrypt the data
- For that the encrypted data is blindly tweaked by a trusted party.

Bernard van Gastel will talk about SSDs. Probably with an interesting angle of perspective once again, without a doubt worth your while.

The meetup is in Mercator, so it's easy to join after a day on the university :-)

This event will be in Dutch.
