The first Thalia-programming contest of the year is coming up!
Are you a beginning programmer who just learned how to use if-else statements to make Charles walk in circles?
Or can you pull off a neural network for recognizing hotdogs like it is nothing?
The contest is accessible for all levels of experience!
You are provided with a basic bot for the game Bomberman, which you'll extend with your own code.
Build your own strategy, solo or in a team, while enjoying a beer/glass of wine/soda, and compete against other bots!
There'll also be prizes to win (raspberry Pi's and Arduino's), but competing is also fun on its own.
You can program in any language you want, but there will be starter bots for Java and Python.
The competition takes place in Mercator 1, so bring your own laptop!
Note: You register your team during the event, in Mercator. If you arrive late, you can still compete.
