The bus leaves at 07:45 sharp from the Platolaan, next to SSH& Sterrenbosch. Make sure you are on time! The bus doesn’t wait for you.
The famous SNiC is back: the Dutch conference for CS students. With lectures by (world) famous and prominent professionals, entrepreneurs and academics, you will be immersed in an interesting topic of computer science for a whole day. You get the opportunity to network, countless goodies are available, the latest developments in the relevant theme are showcased and there is very good food. You will be brought and taken by bus, and all this costs only €10!
"The theme of this year's conference is SingularIT: the technological singular-ity. Singularity is a term that has its origin in mathematics: there, it means 'the point where humanity will no longer be able to know what is being calculated'. The past decennia, the term has been used more and more in the world of technology."
The entire congress is in English. More information, see https://snic-singular.it/
After you have signed up, you can pay for your ticket for the congress in the boardroom in Mercator. Do this as soon as possible after registering, at least within 1 week. Afterwards, you will receive an activation code via email, which you can use register for the congress. Do this on time: you will have to provide additional information (which sessions you want to attend and dietary needs or allergy information) upfront. Once you have picked up your ticket, you can not sign out anymore. Note that when you're absent at the day of the congress and have no valid reason for this, you will still receive an invoice with the additional costs per person of Thalia for the congress.
Note: the current number of tickets available for Thalia is a minimum. Is the event full and you want to join, put yourself on the waiting list. We may be able to obtain additional tickets at the end of October so some of the people in the queue can still join us.
