Lunch lecture CCV

"What does it take to keep our payment transactions secure?"

Digital payment transactions are increasing and cash payments are getting less and less. Retailers prefer a digital payment over cash to make them less interesting targets for (armed) robberies. Another reason is the integration with their internal administration. For consumers (like you) it is common practice that purchases are paid with a bank card and contactless payment contributed that small payments are more easily accessible.

In a nutshell: we all trust that payments and payment transactions services are available and secure.

Frans Kollee, security & compliance manager from CCV Netherlands, will step into some of the applied security principles that secure the infrastructure and systems that process payment transactions. He will touch on some of the technical controls that process your payments which have a high demand on availability, integrity and confidentiality. Furthermore he will discuss the (cyber) threat landscape and compliancy requirements.
