Preliminaries BAPC

On October 7th, the annual Benelux Algorithm Programming Contest (BAPC) is organised, which means Desda and Thalia organise a preliminary round again. The BAPC is a contest in which sixty teams from universities all over the Benelux compete to solve as many algorithmic challenges as possible, as fast as they can.

The teams that solve the most challenges in the preliminaries can go on to the BAPC in Amsterdam. Here you have the opportunity to advance to the Northwestern Europe Region Contest (NWERC) in Bath, and finally to the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) in Beijing.

Registration is done in teams of at most three people, who do not necessarily have to be a member of Desda or Thalia. You can enter the preliminaries by sending a mail to vicevoorzitter@thalia.nu containing your team name and the names of the team members. If you aren't able to form a team with three people, you can still register and we will try to find you a team. Registration closes on Friday, September 22nd at 12.00.

The languages that are allowed are C, C++, Python and Java. Lunch is not included, but it is possible to order pizza for after the competition. Furthermore, there will be a test round right before the competition starts, so you can get used to the system and the challenges.
