SNiC: DisruptIT

The Stichting Nationaal informatica Congres (Foundation National Computing Science Congress) will again organise the famous SNiC event this year: a huge congress that attracts computing science students from all over the country. With lectures from famous and leading professionals, entrepreneurs and academics, you will be submerged into one interesting aspect of computing science. Alongside that, there will be plenty of cool goodies available, as well as demonstrations of new technologies relevant to the theme. There will also be delicious food, you'll be brought by bus and all this is available to you for only €5!

This year’s theme is Disruptive Technology. Disruptive Technology is technology that displaces an established technology. This will shake up the current industry or is so groundbreaking that it creates its own industry. This topic is focussing on current and future technologies that will change the work field of current students. It is hard for students to predict the future of a rapidly changing market. We want to give the students a mind-changing insight into the future.

As soon as you have registered, you can come to the board room above the North canteen to pick up your ticket. The busses to Zwolle will depart from the Platolaan, in front of Sterrenbosch. Make sure you're there at 08:30!
