The First Year Committee, or 'Sjaarcie', is the committee by and for the first year students of Thalia. Its members are recruited at the start of the year and halfway through the year the committee will be filled entirely with new members. During the year, they learn how to organise events, get-togethers ("borrels"), make pictures, and a lot more! The committee serves as a first step to joining other committees.
